Everyone is welcome to join the Glenayre Scottish Country Dance Club for an enjoyable social evening, dancing to the irresistible music of the fiddle and accordion. NO experience or partner required.
Classes are held at the Burquest Jewish Community Centre, 2860 Dewdney Trunk Road in Coquitlam on Tuesdays evenings. Beginner class starts to 7:00PM and General class at 7:30PM from September through April.
Teachers, Jean Wagstaff and Fran Hillier will take you through lively reels and jigs and the ever elegant strathspeys.
Dress comfortably – loose skirts or dresses for women and casual pants or kilts for men. Light, flat shoes are recommended.
