You don’t have to be Scottish to enjoy Scottish Country dancing! The West End Scottish Country Dance Club invite you to join in the fun learning dances to irresistible toe tapping music. It is very social, and no partner or experience required. All levels of dancers are welcome and the first night is free! Classes are held on Tuesday nights from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the West End Community Centre, 870 Denman Street, Vancouver. The cost is $6.50 drop-in per class (less if your pay for the session). The Fall Season runs from September 13th to December 6th. We encourage the beginners to come early (7pm) for step & formation practice. We will review formations for the dances that evening, which will make it easier for you to learn the dances. We set aside some time in each hour for the experienced dancers to do a dance. AND we dance to live music every second week!
