I am sorry to inform you that one of our most stalwart supporters has died. Drew was a huge supporter of Scottish Country Dancing in the Vancouver area and he taught the Kerrisdale Seniors group for many years. I will always remember him from his days on the Demonstration Team with his gentle manner, beard flowing and warm companionship. We shall all miss him.

For the last three year
s the Vancouver police pipe band has been heavily committed in an attempt to produce a documentary film to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the band in 2014. The document relates the history of the band, highlighting the incredible achievement of our playing for the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace in our anniversary year. It is hoped to present this documentary to the general public and also to television as a means to providing income with which to maintain the Vancouver police pipe band as the official band of the city of Vancouver. The band is now faced with the task of raising further funds to complete a professional production of the documentary, and to meet this end we are seeking donations to assist in our endeavor. The following link gives full explanation of our project. The Queen’s New Guard
