Come share a ‘wee taste of Scotland’ at our 45th annual celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns. The evening includes a traditional Scottish meal, with all the trimmings, a no-host bar for wine, beer and whisky, the skirl of the bagpipes, some engaging speakers and the wonderful music of the Vancouver Fiddle Orchestra, entertainment by our Branch Demonstration Team, and a dance programme with dances to suit everyone. This is the perfect way to brighten your winter and enjoy an event that is celebrated worldwide. No Scottish connection is required – just come and join the fun. This event sold out in 2018.
There will be two walk-throughs at the Scottish Cultural Centre. On Wednesday, January 9th we will cover the easier dances and admission is free. On Wednesday, January 16, we will cover all the other dances and regular drop-in ($7.50) will apply. Both are 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
