An Evening with Malcolm Brown

In 2007, local dancers enjoyed an evening of dancing with visiting teacher 
Malcolm Brown from York, England. Malcolm has been kind enough to provide 
the instructions for the dances he presented that night.

Lassie wi' the Lint White Locks A strathspey for 2 couples written by Barry Priddey
Locomotion No. 1 J8x32 3C (4C) written by Terry Chater
Malcolm's Choices A 32 bar reel for a 3 couple set, devised by Malcolm Brown
and Martin Norgate as a dance exercise, where the pattern (within set limits)
is improvised by the dancers.
Strathspey Anniversary Challenge No. 20 A "round the room" dance
Threave Reel R8x32 3C (4C) devised by Helen Brown to commemorate
a family visit to Threave Castle on the River Dee
Time to Spare A 32 bar Strathspey in a 3C set devised by Shelia Trafford
