A Guid New Year to ane an' a'!

Friday, January 4 - Ceilidh Dance
Scottish Cultural Centre   Free Class at 7:00 pm - Dance 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm   $9 (Students $7)
8886 Hudson Street, Vancouver

Message from Duncan: "... don't forget to tell your friends to meet you at the Ceilidh Dance on Friday, January 4, 2008.
I told you that the Vancouver Branch Demonstration Team are coming to perform as well as to join in the fun.
Now I can confirm that CBC are sending a film crew that evening to film us all for a segment to be shown on
"Living Vancouver" hosted (or as I said the other night "compered") by Jennifer Burke. They are going to film a bit of the class
and then a bit of the dance and then, of course, just when you thought you would be a star, they will cut it all down
to about 5 minutes on the programme. This will be a great way to start off the New Year, to get some much needed exercise
and to meet and greet old friends and new faces. Make sure you send out e-mail reminders or maybe just forward this letter
to everyone on your address book! What with the CBC, the raffle tickets, the Demonstration team and lots of extra publicity,
January 4 looks as if it should be a real blast."
